The County of El Dorado is soliciting sealed Statements of Qualifications from highly qualified and experienced firms to provide as-needed professional consulting services, including architectural, engineering, construction management, and related services throughout El Dorado County. The County seeks specialty assistance in the following disciplines: Architect (Commercial, Industrial, Landscape, Interior Design), Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Engineer (Civil), Engineer (Environmental and/or Geotechnical), Engineer (Structural), Engineer (Solar), and Construction Management. Respondents applying for each category should be the primary service provider with minimal use of outside services. Projects will include new construction, tenant improvement, and rehabilitation of structures across County facilities such as buildings, parks, and other real property. The County intends to establish qualified lists for each of the service categories, aiming for multiple service providers on each list. Work will be assigned by either directly selecting a Respondent from the qualified list and negotiating a contract, or soliciting informal submittals from at least three Respondents for specific tasks, followed by contract negotiation based on experience, workload, and ability to respond. Submittals must include a completed and signed RFQ Response Information and Certification form, detailed Staff and Team Qualifications and Experience (including resumes and organizational chart), and Experience of Firm (narrative of relevant background and project experience). Construction Management respondents must provide separate documentation of specific experience in areas such as pre-construction services, project design review and evaluation, construction mobilization and supervision, bid evaluation and cost estimating, project scheduling, cost-benefit analysis, claims review, general project management, and experience with State and/or Federal agencies.
