Reilly Township will receive bids for the 2026 Road Program, which will consist of paving improvements to various roads within the Township. Additional information is provided in the Project Specifications. All bidding documents are available at no cost online. A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the owner. Bidders are subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act. All bids must include the Public Works Employment Verification Form. Pennsylvania prevailing wages apply to this contract. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality, reject any or all items or portions thereof, or waive any technicalities and informalities in the bid for the best interest of the owner. Bids may be held for 60 days after opening, with awarding of the contract to the lowest responsible bidder possibly delayed by up to 120 days to obtain required approvals or secure project funding loans.
