Renovation of a military facility in Remington, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Remington Armory Motor Vehicle Storage Building Roof Replacement at 408 N Cressy Avenue, Remington, IN 47977 for the Indiana Army National Guard. Proposals must be submitted on the proper bid form, include the name and address of the bidder, and be delivered via email as described in the instruction to bidders. A Bid Bond payable to the Adjutant General’s Office, State of Indiana, in the minimum amount of 5% of the maximum bid (including all alternates) must be enclosed. All bidders must be Certified Contractors and hold a valid Certificate of Qualification 1761.04 from the Certificate Board at bid opening. The bidder must be qualified in the classification of the prime contract. Contracts will conform to I.C. 4-13-18 (Contractor’s Employee Drug Testing), and goals for this construction are set at MBE 7%, WBE 5%, and IVBE 3%. This project is subject to the Davis Bacon Act. Complete contract documents are available by registering as a plan holder and ordering from the Eastern Engineering Plan Room, with costs verified by the contractor. RFIs and product substitution requests must be submitted in writing.
