Site work for a water / sewer project in Brownsburg, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes investigation of water service line materials on both the customer and utility maintained portions of water service lines using hydro excavation, public and private utility locating, granular backfill, maintenance of traffic, and restoration as specified. A mandatory alternate for additional undistributed investigations in target areas is included to more extensively investigate areas where potential lead water service line materials may be present. Work is to be constructed under a Unit Price Contract. Bids must be executed on State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013), with the Contractor's Bid Attachment, a completed and signed Financial Statement, and a bid security of not less than 5% of the total bid price. Contractors must comply with statutory requirements regarding qualifications, E-Verify enrollment, Indiana Iran Investment Certification, submission of an Employee Drug Testing Plan, and Drug Testing Plan Certification. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract price and maintain suitable insurance coverage throughout the contract term plus twelve months from substantial completion. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid from the lowest most responsible and responsive bidder.
