Sealed bids are invited for renovations at Stout Field Building 7 (North) Secured Area Phase VI at 2002 South Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241, for the Indiana Army National Guard. Proposals must be submitted by email using the proper bid form and must include the name and address of the bidder. A Bid Bond payable to the Adjutant General's Office, State of Indiana, in an amount of at least five percent of the maximum bid (including all additive alternate bids) is required. Bidders must be Certified Contractors and hold a valid Certificate of Qualification 1542.01 or 1542.04 from the Certificate Board at the time of bid opening. Pre-qualification by the Department of Transportation does not meet this requirement. The bidder must be qualified in the classification of the prime contract. The work is subject to the Davis Bacon Act, and the following participation goals apply: MBE 7%, WBE 5%, IVBE 3%. All contracts must conform to I.C. 4-13-18 (Contractor's Employee Drug Testing). The State Armory Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Convert existing non-secure area to a secure space and accredited SCIF as an expansion of the existing SCIF ID of the Primary Server Room. Add a new secure corridor from the existing secure corridor that currently leads to the Primary Server Room and outdoor classrooms. Modifying the existing wire mesh caging systems to facilitate a new layout to the northern Heated Storage section to remain. Boiler relocation and/or heating modifications for the northern section of Building 7 that is primarily used for storage.
