RFP D/B - Pickleball Courts Construction Notice is Hereby Given That the Town Council of the Town of Welaka, Florida, is Soliciting Sealed Bids From Qualified and Licensed Contractors for the Turnkey Design-build Construction of Four (4) Asphalt Pickleball Courts at Veterans Memorial Park, Located at 500 Pine Street, Welaka, Florida 32193. The Project Includes, but is Not Limited to: Site Clearing and Grading Asphalt Paving Court Surfacing and Striping Installation of Fencing and Net Systems Drainage Improvements Restoration and Final Cleanup The Project Shall Be Completed in Accordance With All Applicable Provisions of Florida Law, Including Chapters 255 and 287, Florida Statutes, the Florida Building Code, Florida Fire Prevention Code, Americans With Disabilities Act (Ada), and All Applicable Town of Welaka and Putnam County Ordinances. The Town of Welaka Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals, Waive Informalities, Request Clarifications, and Award the Contract in the Best Interest of the Town. The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete construction of four (4) sideby-side asphalt pickleball courts, each measuring 34' x 64 ', for a total court area of 136' x 64' (8,704 sq ft). The work includes all site preparation, materials, installation, finishing, and clean-up Question Deadline 07/15/2026 at 4:30 PM ET All questions regarding this ITB must be submitted in writing to the Town Clerk
