The Housing Authority of the City of Allentown, PA is requesting sealed bids for the Walnut Manor Elevator Modernization located at 1519 West Walnut Street, Allentown, PA 18102. All applicable Equal Employment Opportunity requirements for federally assisted contracts must be complied with, including compliance with Executive Orders on female and minority employment, Nondiscrimination, Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprise, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Minority Business Participation. Contract Documents containing detailed submission requirements are available online at no cost. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the total contract value, are required from the successful bidder. Bids shall only be submitted electronically via the designated online program. The Allentown Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in bidding, and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
