Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the expansion of a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this solicitation is to evaluate and select a vendor to provide grant administration and compliance services for the Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Funded Normandy Village Utility Infrastructure Repair Project. The proposed project involves the abandonment of the NVU wastewater treatment facility, rehabilitating approximately 30,689 linear feet of existing gravity sewer mains, 4,350 linear feet of force main, 254 manholes, and the installation of approximately 1,300 linear feet of new force main to connect to JEA's collection system, rehabilitation of up to four existing pump stations, and one new pump station to allow for the redirection of all wastewater flows to JEA's existing wastewater treatment facility. This project is funded solely through the Florida Department of Commerce's Rebuild Florida Infrastructure Repair Program with Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds allocated in response to Hurricanes Idalia, Debby, Helene, and Milton (2023-2024 storms).
