Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
The work consists of the construction of an approximately 3,900 feet long and 300 feet wide bypass channel consisting of a floodwall on the east side (right bank) and an earthen levee on the west side (left bank). The project includes a combination of flood risk management, betterment features, pedestrian walkways and bridges, lighting, plaza parks, kayak launches, accessibility with signage, stop logs, storage areas, and stormwater infrastructure. Set-asides: 24% SBE, 9% DBE, 3% WBE, 1% HUB, 2% SBE, 2% DVBE.
