Site work for a road / highway in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Surrey (the "City") intends for the removal and replacement of existing High Intensity Discharge ("HID") lighting fixtures with Light Emitting Diode ("LED") lighting fixtures along designated arterial, collector and local roadways. As part of phase one of the project, the City plans to replace approximately 1003 streetlight luminaires on existing cobra head style fixtures and approximately 150 decorative street light luminaires on an annual basis. These replacements will upgrade existing non-LED infrastructure to energy efficient LED technology. Over the course of the three-year, the City's objectives are to replace and install a total of approximately 3009 LED streetlight luminaries and 450 decorative streetlights. The LED streetlight fixtures are to be mounted on existing streetlight poles and energized by existing streetlight wiring systems by qualified electrician(s) (the "Services").
