The City of Surrey (the "City") intends for the removal and replacement of existing High Intensity Discharge ("HID") lighting fixtures with Light Emitting Diode ("LED") lighting fixtures along designated arterial, collector and local roadways. As part of phase one of the project, the City plans to replace approximately 1003 streetlight luminaires on existing cobra head style fixtures and approximately 150 decorative street light luminaires on an annual basis. These replacements will upgrade existing non-LED infrastructure to energy efficient LED technology. Over the course of the three-year, the City's objectives are to replace and install a total of approximately 3009 LED streetlight luminaries and 450 decorative streetlights. The LED streetlight fixtures are to be mounted on existing streetlight poles and energized by existing streetlight wiring systems by qualified electrician(s) (the "Services"). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labour, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to carry out LED streetlight fixture replacement on cobra head fixtures and decorative fixtures, performing the services in accordance with this Agreement.
