Site work and new construction of a museum in Farmington, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 6,500-square-foot museum; and for site work for a museum.
The scope of work for Architect/Engineer (A/E) Services includes complete A/E services and all necessary site development for all design phases, from programming through construction administration, close out, and an 11-month warranty. This includes interfacing with the selected Exhibition Design Firm to integrate the core exhibit into the building. The museum's core exhibit space will be approximately 6,500 square feet. Specialty sub-consultants required are a Museum Specialist with professional experience in exhibit planning and museum design, and a Navajo Code Talker Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge of Code Talker history and the Diné people, ideally with existing relationships with Code Talker families or the Navajo Code Talkers Association.
