Reference Number 0000424230 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: General contractor for: Roof replacement at low slope portions, replacement of all HVAC units, and associated mechanical, plumbing and electrical as needed. SCOPE OF WORK – The scope of work requires a General Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to satisfactorily complete the project as detailed in Exhibit A and associated specifications and plans as provided by Horry County Schools. The overall project involves : 1. Roof replacement (Modified Bitumen; Johns Manville or equal (Siplast, Soprema) for the low slope portion of roof along with repair of the existing metal roofing) 20 yr. warranty on roof and roof accessories. 2. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering to replace all of the existing HVAC units, including the outside air units (MAU’s) (Trane) 3. Coordinate new electrical, plumbing, mechanical requirements with existing and upgrade/modify existing service and connection points as needed. 4. Demolish and remove existing equipment. 5. Require 5 yr. warranty from Trane on all new units, above and beyond installers warranty of work. Minimum 20 yr. roof warranty from manufacturer above and beyond warranty from installer. 6. Contractor to run and attend minimum bi-weekly project meetings for the duration of the project and include all sub contractors, district retained third party inspectors, testing and balancing consultant, CMI (Controls Management, Inc). 7. Contractor to be responsible for arranging timely inspections as needed and coordinated with District's third party inspectors..
