This Sources Sought and pre-solicitation notice is issued for market research purposes to identify potentially qualified small business concerns capable of providing and installing various fencing systems for gate perimeter security. The scope of work includes installation of an ornamental fence with a K8-rated passive vehicle barrier and chain-link fencing reinforced with steel cable. Existing security infrastructure includes security gates installed in 2015 and a pedestrian access point and ornamental fence with a K8-rated passive vehicle barrier installed in 2016. To continue meeting current security criteria, new fencing systems are required on the north side of the avenue and along the north and south portions of the west side of the state route. The overall objective of the project is to upgrade and enhance Fort Huachuca's perimeter fence. Any resulting solicitation is anticipated to be a firm-fixed-price construction contract subject to Davis-Bacon Act "Heavy" wage determinations, with an estimated construction magnitude between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Location: Fort Huachuca, 15401 South Huachuca Boulevard, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613.
