The work includes the construction of a new secure entrance vestibule at the school, featuring an access-controlled aluminum storefront entry, new concrete slab, bullet-resistant interior partition and window system, revised reception layout, and upgraded doors and hardware. The work also involves demolition, installation of new security components, and integration with the existing access-control system to provide a fully monitored and controlled visitor entry point, along with other work indicated in the bidding documents. Instructions to bidders state that electronic copies of the bidding documents will be available in PDF format for a non-refundable document access fee. Only full sets of documents will be issued, and payment of the fee registers the party as a bidding document holder. All requests for information, substitutions, and other correspondence must be submitted in writing to the architect's administrative account. Addenda will be issued electronically to registered bidding document holders. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on-site for all potential bidders.
