**As of July 10th, 2026, the project was awarded to Northeast Asphalt, Inc with an awarded amount of $191,769.50** Mill, grade, and asphalt pavement of 4100 SY on Chicago Street (between Adams and Cleveland); mill, grade, and asphalt pavement of 680 SY in the alley (south of Fremont 6th Street to 7th Street); and mill, grade, and asphalt pavement of 1584 SY on North Street (3rd Street to 4th Street). Greater details will be given in the construction bid tab. All proposals must be made on blank forms furnished by the City of Kiel and in accordance with the General Instructions to Bidders. Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be examined and/or obtained at the City of Kiel City Hall. All proposal envelopes must be clearly marked "BID-2026 Asphalt Paving." The City encourages DBEs including MBEs and WBEs to submit proposals. The letting of the work is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin State Statutes, in particular 62.15, 66.0901, and 66.0903.
