The York County Procurement Department, on behalf of the York County Facility Maintenance Department, is seeking sealed bids for the purchase and installation of upgrades for two Variable Speed Drives (VSD) on chillers. The York County Procurement Department, on behalf of the York County Facility Maintenance Department, is interested in receiving sealed bids for the purchase and installation of upgrades for (2) VSD Drives on York Magnetic Bearing Chillers at Moss Justice Center consisting of (2) Vyper Drives, (2) Trigger Boards and (2) Logic Boards along with programming. 1.2 Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, programming, startup assistance, testing, and commissioning necessary to replace and program the following components on two (2) existing JOHNSON CONTROLS / YORK Magnetic Bearing Chillers equipped with Vyper Variable Speed Drives (VSD): Two (2) Vyper Drives Two (2) Trigger Boards Two (2) Logic Boards The Contractor shall provide all work necessary to return the chillers to full operational status in accordance with manufacturer specifications and operational requirements. The YORK magnetic bearing chillers utilize integrated variable speed drive technology and OptiView controls for compressor and magnetic bearing operation. 1.3 Equipment The equipment covered under these specifications includes YORK magnetic bearing centrifugal chillers manufactured by Johnson Controls and utilizing YORK OptiSpeed/Vyper variable speed drive technology. The VSD system includes rectifier, DC link, inverter, trigger/gate drive circuitry, and logic control architecture.
