Site work for a water / sewer project in Trenton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the cleanout of a raw water intake pit for the Department of Water. Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting at the Trenton Water Filtration Plant conference room, located on Route 29 South, Trenton, NJ, north of the Calhoun Street Bridge. All questions must be submitted in writing at least seven days before the bid opening. No questions will be answered after the specified deadline. Questions must be submitted in writing at least seven days prior to the bid opening to igarcia@trentonnj.org. Deadline date for questions is June 1, 2026. The Trenton Water Filtration Plant is located on Route 29 South in Trenton, NJ, just north of the Calhoun Street bridge. Work involves cleaning of a river intake located in the Delaware River including the connecting piping and concrete conduit that conveys raw water into the treatment plant facility. Work must be performed with the intake flooded as there is no ability to isolate and dewater the pipe and conduits. No activity is permitted in the river outside of the area of raw water intake. TWW is working closely with NJDEP to implement this work, but the contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits from NJDEP and jurisdiction authorities.
