Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

University Avenue West MUP (Multi-Use Path): This section of the project will consist of a multi-use path construction of the south side of the road. It will include the removal of existing sidewalk, asphalt, concrete, curb and gutter and vegetation along the proposed path. It will also include ditch grading, replacement of asphalt, curb and gutter, truncated domes with new pavement markings. Courtland Avenue East Infill Sidewalk: This section of the project will include clearing and grubbing of existing vegetation for the installation of a new sidewalk and restoration of boulevard. Maple Grove MUP (Multi-Use Path): This section of the project will include the removal of existing sidewalk and replacement of existing bus shelter to enable installation of a MUP with colored impressed concrete boulevard. It will also include restoration of boulevard with hydroseed. Fountain Street MUP (Multi-Use Path): This section of the project will include the removal and replacement of asphalt, concrete, curb and gutter for the installation of new bus pads and MUP with pavement markings. Benton Street/Frederick Street Resurfacing, Watermain Replacement and Storm Sewer Repair: This section of the project will include the removal of existing pavement for installation of new pavement to match existing condition. It will include the removal of asphalt and excavation for replacement of existing 150mm diameter ductile iron watermain to 300mm diameter PVC watermain in the same location/elevation. There will be a temporary water service connection installed above-ground to facilitate this upgrade. Additionally, this section will include the removal of storm sewers at 3 locations for replacement. 2420 Townline Road Right-of-Way Median Works: This section of the project will include the replacement of existing asphalt and curb for the installation of a new traffic median.
