This Sources Sought notice is issued for market research and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation or commitment by the Government. The requirement is to replace two existing motor control centers in the northwest electrical equipment room with free-standing panelboards and circuit breakers, and to replace two existing panelboards and cabinets with one consolidated panelboard in room C-B019. The work includes removal of existing cabinets and circuit breakers at both locations and furnishing and installing new Eaton cabinets and Eaton circuit breakers. The contractor shall provide a complete, fully operational electrical distribution system consistent with the existing infrastructure. Replacement equipment shall match or exceed the existing system in voltage rating, ampacity, interrupting capacity, and number of operable circuits, and shall not reduce system capacity, reliability, or operational functionality. All work shall be carefully planned and executed to avoid unplanned outages in a fully functioning hospital environment. Electrical service interruptions must be minimized, disruptive testing or power curtailment shall be performed during off-hours, and utmost care is required to ensure continuity of medical services. The work will occur in occupied healthcare spaces and requires strict outage coordination and phased execution to maintain partial system operation throughout the project. Location: Richard L.
