Scope of Services to be Performed The required services to be provided are fence & gate installation in BLDG. 514 at Rio Grande State Center (RGSC). Installation of approximately 392 linear feet of 8-foot-high, 9-gauge galvanized chain link fencing with 1" anti-climb mesh, including specialized track and pedestrian gates. a) Preparation & Layout 1. Site Survey: Mark the fence line for 183' x 96" and 209' x 96" galvanized 1" mesh chain link fabric fencing. 2. Utility Clearance: Ensure all underground utilities are marked before any post-hole digging begins. 3. Clearance: Clear minor vegetation or obstructions along the fence path to ensure a level installation. b) Framework & Post Installation 1. Terminal Posts: Install 2-7/8" OD galvanized steel posts at all ends, corners, and gate locations. 2. Line Posts: Space line posts at a maximum of 10-foot intervals. 3. Top Rail: Install 1-5/8" OD top rail continuously along the entire fence line. 4. Setting: All posts must be set in concrete footings (depth and diameter per local code/wind load requirements). c) Fence Fabric (Small Mesh) 1. Material: Install 9-gauge galvanized chain link fabric. 2. Mesh Size: Fabric must be 1" mesh (high security/anti-climb). 3. Height: 4. Finished fabric height of 96 inches (8 feet). 5. Tension: Securely stretch fabric and fasten to framework using galvanized tie wires and tension bars. d) Gate Installation 1. Tail Track Gates: Assemble and install (4) 12-foot opening sliding gates with 3-foot tail tracks (Total 4 units across both sections). i. Include all rollers, track brackets, and latching hardware. ii. Ensure smooth operation along the track without binding. 2. Pedestrian Gate: Install (1) Single Swing pedestrian gate equipped with heavy-duty hinges and a secure latching mechanism. e) Completion & Cleanup 1. Post-Installation: Ensure all caps, sleeves, and hardware are tightened and secure. 2. Site Cleanup: Remove all excess soil from post-hole digging, wire clippings, and packaging materials. 3.
