Provide semi-annual preventive maintenance inspections, testing, maintenance, and emergency repair services for emergency generators and associated automatic transfer switches at the VA Black Hills Health Care System. Services include scheduled inspections in October/November and May/June, annual load bank testing in accordance with NFPA 110, documentation and reporting of inspection results, third-party fluid testing, and priority emergency response within four hours. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, consumables, testing equipment, and standby/backup generators as required, coordinate utility shutdowns, and ensure systems remain in automatic operation unless properly approved. Work includes troubleshooting, on-site minor repairs during testing, preparation of written repair quotes for additional or major repairs, support during emergency outages, training of VA personnel as required, compliance with VA security, privacy, and training requirements, and restoration of all systems to full operational status following testing or repairs. Location: VA Black Hills Health Care System facilities at Fort Meade VA Medical Center, 113 Comanche Road, Fort Meade, SD 57741; Hot Springs VA Medical Center, 500 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747; and associated VA clinic locations in Rapid City, South Dakota, if mobile units are in place.
