Site work and paving for a road / highway in Windber, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following items: 1,973 tons of Superpave Wearing Course, 9.5mm, in place; 826 tons of Superpave Scratch and Leveling Course, 9.5mm, in place; 450 tons of Aggregate Shoulder, in place; and 1,222 square yards of Base Repairs, in place. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies only if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.00. Liquidated damages are set at $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must use the forms provided by the Municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types, this requirement is at the municipality's discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check equal to 100% of the contract within 20 days after the award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
