Corazon Art Park is a proposed temporary arts- and wellness-focused public park planned for a long-vacant lot at the intersection of 1st Street and Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles, directly across from City Hall. The project is being advanced through a partnership between the City of Los Angeles and the AltaMed Museum of Chicano and Mexican Art, and includes decomposed granite pathways, landscaping, a parking area, multipurpose open space, a temporary wellness centre and art gallery, food vendor areas, and installation of a 30-foot-tall Corazon Heart Sculpture featuring a spherical digital screen for cultural programming and sponsored content.
