The City of Toledo Department of Public Services and Facility Operations is soliciting bids for lighting replacement and upgrade at Chester Zablocki Center. Bids prices shall be to two (2) decimal places (i.e. $0.00) or four (4) decimal places (i.e. $0.0000). Only one (1) price per line item will be accepted with this bid. Question Deadline : 05/28/2026 at 4:00 PM ET : Online Q&A : Yes. All questions regarding the plans and specifications must be in writing submitted through the online website Q&A tab. The City of Toledo's Department of Public Service are interested in receiving quotes to have the lighting replaced/upgraded at the Chester Zablocki Center which is located at 3015 Lagrange St. The Chester Zablocki Center has an estimated 226 light fixtures that will require replacing entirely with LED fixtures. We are interested in receiving quotes to having all of the replaced and upgraded to an energy saving LED. _ All new fixtures should be replaced with the following manufacturers types, and brands or equivalent: o New LED Fixture - Lithonia _ Any and all manufacturers considered for "equivalent" must be approved by the project manager _ Replace and upgrade all interior with new LED, various styles, shapes, sizes, and brands o 28 High Bay Fixtures in the gym - Must be installed first once project is awarded o 32 2X2 fixtures in assembly area o 6 tube shaped shop light fixtures, six foot in length (will accept recommendations) o 81 2X4 o 59 shop light style lights _ Very randomly placed, should be able to reduce scope after award Clean, remove debris, and restore property to original condition or better where applicable _ The city requires that all contractors list any authorized representation licensing with OEM's for extended warranty of components and/or systems. These documents will support expertise, factory training, and installation standards of performing contractor. _ All work to be performed in a professional manner by all trades involved, and by licensed trades as required, i.e. electrician _ The use of any sub-contractors by the prime contractor must be approved by contacting Rick Akeman/Josh Porter, Manager Facility Operations, 419-936-2560 _ All Federal/State/City codes must be maintained; and all work performed to code _ Contractors are responsible to obtain any/or permits as needed o Selected Vendor must show that all permits have been obtained and posted _ Best efforts must be made to protect city property and or grounds _ Services to be timely made, with site to be left clean and in safe condition
