Site work and new construction of a civil project in Somersworth, New Hampshire. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City contracted Emery & Garrett in 2020 to assess the productive capability of the Rocky Hill Well Field site to be developed as an active water supply resource for both short and long term growth needs of the City. The Well Field is currently used to provide seasonal water supply for irrigation purposes only to the Oaks Golf Course via a pump and piping system. The evaluation report identified a proposed capital improvement plan necessary to treat the Rocky Hill Well water supply to include a treatment operations plant and a water distribution system connected to the City's existing distribution system. The estimated construction cost was $4,500,000 in 2021. The project is included in the City's 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 18, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
