The work consists of furnishing all work and materials for City Improvement No. 26-08, the 2026 Blaine Storm Outlet Project. The approximate quantities and types of work include: 4 lump sum clear and grub, 230 linear feet remove storm pipe, 50 linear feet remove and replace concrete curb, 120 square feet remove and replace concrete ADA pedestrian ramp, 178 linear feet salvage and reinstall chain link fence, 1 lump sum grading, 17 square yards remove and replace bituminous pavement, 3 each RC pipe aprons, 200 linear feet RC pipe sewer design 3006 class III, 115 cubic yards random rip-rap class III, 415 square yards rolled erosion prevention, and 5 lump sum turf establishment, including all related work and appurtenances. Work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the City. Only contractors who purchase the Bidding Documents through the specified website, www.questcdn.com (using project #10203043), and submit their bids electronically as instructed, are eligible. Bids must be submitted via QuestCDN and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bidder’s bond payable to the City for not less than 5% of the bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will, within ten days of contract award notification, enter into an agreement with the City and furnish a bond for the full contract amount as required by law. Cash deposits, certified checks, and bidder’s bonds from the three lowest bidders may be retained until the contract is awarded and executed, but not longer than 60 days from the date of bid opening. Official notifications, addenda, and other bidding documents will be available only through the specified website. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from other sources. All payments must be on the basis of cash for work and materials.
