Renovation of a municipal facility in Milford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project provides for the renovation of the building elevator at the Department of Correction headquarters. The work includes new interior finishes, a new door operator, and a clutch. Questions are due Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 4:00PM by emailing Michael.Fratoni@doc.state.ma.us. The project is estimated at $80,000.00. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: The Elevator Contractor shall complete a cab renovation to include the following: • Wall panels: raised removable, vertical above handrail elevation, seven (7) total, horizontal below handrail elevation, three (3), faced and edged with plastic laminate per owner’s selection, laminated on class A substrate, balanced back and with brackets • Handrail panels: raised removable horizontal, three (3), faced and edged with #4 stainless steel, laminated on class A substrate, balanced back and with brackets • Suspended ceiling, island type, faced with #4 stainless steel with ¼” black reveals and provisions for existing emergency exit • LED downlights with black trim in suspended ceiling with dimmer and emergency battery • Handrail(s), one (1) total, 1 ½” dia., finished in #4 stainless steel at ADA elevation • Base and reveals, #4 stainless steel • Elevator flooring, remove existing, prepare subfloor and install carpet/VCT tiles per owner’s selection.
