Description

Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in North Liberty, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 27,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; 6,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for the addition of a 6,000-square-foot municipal facility.

The City of North Liberty is seeking a Construction Manager At-Risk (CMaR) on a Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract. The scope of work includes multiple projects. At the Parks Shop Building, work involves the demolition of a storage building, construction of a new 6,000-square-foot standalone building, site work, utility work, and renovations to the existing building. At the Water Maintenance Shop, the scope includes a 6,000-square-foot building addition with associated site and utility work. For the Cherry Street Firehouse, the project includes the temporary relocation of the fire department, demolition of the existing single-story fire station and storage shed, and construction of a new two-story, 27,000-square-foot fire station with associated site and utility work.
