Gaston County is seeking qualified contractors to assist with the cleanup and abatement of public nuisance cases throughout the county. The purpose is to establish a pool of responsive, capable contractors who can provide timely, efficient, and high-quality abatement services as needed. Contractors with experience in property cleanup, debris removal, vegetation control, structure stabilization or demolition, and related services are encouraged to submit a bid. This solicitation does not result in a single contract award; rather, it establishes a pool of pre-qualified contractors eligible to receive and respond to project-specific solicitations. The county intends to award contracts to multiple qualified candidates, who will be placed on an approved vendor list and invited to participate in future project-specific solicitations. Contracts for pre-selected contractors will automatically renew each fiscal year. The county reserves the right to remove any contractor from the pre-qualified list for failure to perform, failure to respond, safety violations, or non-compliance with county standards.
