Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lilly, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for the following: Item 1: 689 square yards milling of bituminous pavement; Item 2: 43 tons Superpave scratch and leveling course, 9.5mm, in place; Item 3: 137 tons Superpave wearing course, 9.5mm, in place; Item 4: 6,160 square yards single sealcoat with RS-2 (E-2)/CRS-2 (E-3). Phase #1 consists of Items 1-3. Phase #2 consists of Item 4. Phases are to be bid and awarded separately. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the municipality. For third class cities, the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types, it is at the municipality's discretion. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract must be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
