Paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for the following: 1,880 square yards of 1 1/2 inch asphalt milling, 107 tons of Superpave Wearing (Scratch) Course, and 167 tons of Superpave Wearing Course (Fine Graded). Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the municipality. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality. The successful bidder is required to provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days of the contract award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Ross Ave.: Perform milling of existing surface at a 1 1/2" depth. Then furnish and place 1/2" Superpave Wearing (Scratch) Course followed by 1" Superpave Wearing Course (Fine-Graded) at the limits indicated above. Cummings St., Little St., S. Main St., Yorkes Alley: Furnish and place 1/2" Superpave (Scratch) Course over existing roadway followed by 1" Superpave Wearing Course (Fine-Graded) at the limits indicated above (No Milling).
