Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elko, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work involved will include the following: Schedule I (Federal) - Rehabilitate Terminal Building Sidewalks Schedule II (Non-Federal) - Install Sidewalk Heating System The approximate quantities of major bid items involved in the proposed work are: Remove Sidewalk 1,060 SY Remove Curb And Gutter 470 LF Construct 4-inch Sidewalk 1,090 SY Construct Pedestrian Access Ramp 51 SY Construct Barrier Curb 440 LF Install Sidewalk Heating System 1 LS Install Lighted Bollard, Complete 13 EA The City of Elko reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and to reject any and all bids. All questions regarding the bid are to be directed to Annette Robinson, Elko City Clerk, 1751 College Avenue, Elko, Nevada, 89801, Email: cityclerk@elkocitynv.gov . Questions received less than seven (7) business days prior to the date for opening Bids will not be answered. Bid Bond. Guarantee will be required with each bid as a certified check on a solvent bank or a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) % of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Elko. Performance & Payment Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
