Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a military facility in Elko, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a military facility; for the renovation of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; and for the construction of a military facility.

The project includes all design and construction services for replacement of an existing Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office and development of a new Forest Service office. The new BLM District Office will be approximately 19,000 square feet on a site with about 5 acres of disturbance, based on schematic drawings previously prepared by the BLM. The facility will provide administrative District Office and Field Office functions, visitor contact space, and law enforcement space. Following completion, the existing BLM office will be demolished. The project also includes the design and construction of a new U.S. Forest Service District Office building with a maximum area of 7,170 square feet. Work also includes design and construction of the site layout for areas adjacent to both new and demolished facilities. Construction must be phased to allow continued use of the existing BLM office until the new facility is ready for occupancy. The site design will incorporate temporary phased and permanent grading and drainage, traffic circulation, parking, security, communications, xeriscape landscaping, and an automated irrigation system. Final building and site designs will build upon conceptual site layouts, phasing plans, building plans, and massing concepts provided in the Government Concept Package, with the design-build contractor responsible for developing integrated design solutions. The final site design requires coordination with existing development and a phased approach to construct the new BLM office, demolish the existing facility, and then construct the new Forest Service office.
