The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities: 7,000 square yards remove bituminous pavement; 10,300 cubic yards excavation - common; 1,200 cubic yards common embankment; 2,200 cubic yards aggregate base Class 5; 1,200 tons Type SP 9.5 wearing course mix; 700 tons Type SP 12.5 wearing course mix; 2,700 linear feet silt fence, Type MS; 3 acres seeding; 3,800 linear feet 6-inch solid line multi comp; 100 square feet pavement message multi comp. The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response submission shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through QuestCDN. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any Bids received without explanation. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. For all further requirements regarding Bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The 3rd Avenue Reconstruction Project shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the street construction, realignment, grading, and appurtenant work as shown on the Plans and specified herein.
