Description

Site work for a road / highway in Moore Haven, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

GEC is seeking proposals from qualified fiber construction contractors to maintain the existing aerial and underground fiber optic system as well as install drops and add additional fiber to the system as needed. Any new drops and additional fiber will be classified as “new construction.” The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary. This work will be conducted across the entire service territory, which covers parts of Glades, Hendry, Highlands, and Okeechobee counties in Florida. The contract period will be 3 years, expiring December 31, 2028. Vendors are required to upload both a proposal and a bid as part of their submission. Question Deadline 05/22/2026 at 5:00 PM ET
