Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of rehabilitation of existing corrugated metal storm sewer pipe along Bell Tavern Boulevard utilizing cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining systems, including pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, bypass pumping, liner installation, traffic control, restoration, and post-installation testing. The bid includes alternate bid items for conventional steam-cured or hot water-cured CIPP liner systems and UV-cured fiberglass reinforced CIPP liner systems. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will need to provide a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Material Payment Bond, and an eighteen (18) month Maintenance Bond within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and all applicable anti-kickback regulations. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, and award the contract in its best interest. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) calendar days after the date for receipt of bids.
