Sealed bids will be received for Lead Service Line Replacements - Phase 1. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms as designated and required by the specifications, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project name, and be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten percent of the amount bid (not more than $20,000 or less than $500) and a consent of surety from a company authorized in New Jersey for one hundred percent of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with requirements regarding Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, local public contract laws, and New Jersey Business Registration. Contractors must notify subcontractors of the business registration requirement and provide proof prior to final payment. All bids shall be irrevocable for sixty days. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Small, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to compete for the contract.
