Remodeling of an educational facility in McKenzie, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
McKenzie Special School District is seeking bids for restroom flooring, refinishing, and resurfacing at McKenzie Middle School, 80 Woodrow Ave., McKenzie, TN, 38201. All flooring options will be considered. Bids should include the recommended flooring option (tile replacement, refinishing and/or resurfacing options), all material costs, all labor costs for tear-out (if applicable) and installation, all other associated costs and expenses for the total project, and any included warranty information. The final bid package should list the total price, by line item, for all costs and services to be provided. Bidders should schedule a visit to McKenzie Middle School to review the project and ensure the full scope of work, including appropriate square footage for each restroom, is considered. The successful bidder will be responsible for all material removal, disposal, and cleanup at the site. The timeline for the start and completion of the project will be finalized with the successful bidder and the school district. The successful bidder must provide proof of insurance and relevant TN licenses. McKenzie Special School District is exempt from sales tax and can provide appropriate documentation to the successful bidder. Bid packages, marked "MMS Flooring 2026", should be submitted to Dr. Justin Barden, Director of Schools, by the specified deadline either by mail or in person to 114 Bell Ave, McKenzie, TN, 38201.
