Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Marion, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The project consists of replacement of the primary HVAC equipment for the original building at the headquarters of District Three Governmental Cooperative, as well as some reworking of ductwork in response to floor plan changes. Sealed bids are invited for renovations to the HVAC system at 4453 Lee Highway, Marion VA. Bids will be received until 12:00 noon, June 18, 2026, at the project site or by e-mail prior to the deadline. A Bid Bond will be required, and the successful bidder must furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds. The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, meaning all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States unless a waiver is approved. Provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act (minimum wage determinations) also apply. The owner reserves the right to reject all bids if the low bid exceeds available funds.
