Construction services are required to upgrade cooling towers and chillers under Project No. 626-24-203. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental services necessary to complete the project, including architectural, plumbing, fire protection, controls, medical gas, mechanical, and electrical power and systems work. The scope includes construction, alterations, selective demolition of existing construction, and removal of associated equipment and utilities as required to deliver a complete, fully functional system in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work shall be coordinated to minimize disruption to medical center operations, with required night, early morning, weekend, and off-hour work to maintain continuous facility functionality. The contractor is responsible for field verification of dimensions and existing conditions, coordination of work phasing, adherence to VA and OSHA safety requirements, site protection, cleanliness, and proper material handling and storage. All work and materials shall carry a minimum one-year warranty, and final payment will not be issued until the upgraded systems are fully validated and operational.
