Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Auburn, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a five-unit multi-residential development.

The City of Auburn, NY is seeking qualified contractors to participate in their Vacant Rental Program, funded through NYS Homes and Community Renewal. The program will renovate vacant properties with one to five residential units. Typical trades may include, but are not limited to, general contracting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, painting, and lead remediation. All work will be undertaken within the City of Auburn. Interested contractors must complete an application form, provide work and credit references, carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance, $500,000 property damage insurance, and Workers Compensation Insurance, and have applicable certifications or licenses for their trade. Electricians and plumbers must be licensed to work within the City of Auburn. M/WBE firms are strongly encouraged to apply and participate in the program. Applications can be obtained from the City of Auburn website and should be returned via email or by mail by the specified due date.
