Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Eustis, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of all services, labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of the following project: CR 452 from CR 44 to the Lake/Marion County Line – Phase 2, Bid No. 25-741; Project No. 2025-03. The project is a safety improvement initiative extending approximately 8.93 miles from about 138 feet southeast of County Road 44 to the Lake County/Marion County line. The improvements include the installation of 8-foot shoulders with 5-foot paved shoulders (base, stabilization, asphalt) and 3-foot unpaved shoulders (base) throughout the project. Additional widening improvements will occur at the intersection of County Road 44 and County Road 452 (northeast corner) and at the intersection of Goose Prairie Road and CR 452, followed by milling and resurfacing of the roadway over specified limits (665 feet northwest of Goose Prairie Road and 842 feet southeast of Goose Prairie Road). At the intersection of Felkins Road and County Road 452, the project includes a reconstruction portion, involving road realignment, removal and replacement with a residential driveway, and sod placement. Bidders are encouraged to review plans, specifications, and bid forms prior to submission.
