Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Tavares, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

Sealed bids are invited for the furnishing of all services, labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of the Britt Road Reconstruction and Culvert Replacement Project, Bid No. 26-711; Project No. 2026-05. The project is located in Lake County and covers approximately 260 feet along Britt Road. Proposed improvements include roadway, embankment, and drainage work to address the washed-out section of Britt Road, grading upstream and downstream of the road crossing, installation of new 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) culverts and inlets from Britt Road east toward Lake of the Woods, installation of a baffle box for water quality treatment, construction of an underdrain system to collect groundwater flow, and installation of a U-endwall and riprap at the pipe outfall location. The roadway is to be reconstructed along its historic alignment, including base preparation, stabilization, asphalt paving, pavement markings, shoulders, and swales. Bidders are encouraged to download and review the plans, specifications, and bid forms prior to the non-mandatory pre-bid conference so that questions may be presented at that time.
