Site work for a civil project in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Generally, without limiting the scope of the project, the work covered by this pre-qualification covers the following: - Preparation of isolation and draining, and disinfection plans to allow for entry to one treated water reservoir at a time (total of two) while maintaining plant flow through the other. - Provision of a pumping system and temporary piping, if required, to complete draining and clean out of the treated water reservoir cells. - Confined space entry support including but not limited to rescue plans, retrieval equipment if needed, rescue personnel and lighting. - Provision of scaffolding, including stamped drawings, to allow for inspection of process, electrical and structural reservoir components. - Rehabilitation of the reservoir as identified as required through the inspection (provisional). Rehabilitation and repair works may include: - Structural repairs consisting of crack injection repairs, concrete spall repairs, joint repairs, exposed rebar repairs, ladder or hatch repairs or replacements. - Resurfacing of deteriorated surfaces using cementitious repair mortar. - Replacement of process piping and equipment Documents can be obtained at https://regionofwaterloo.bidsandtenders.ca/ Question Deadline: Tue Jun 2, 2026 4:00:00 PM (EDT)
