Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Union Point, Georgia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The project consists of the construction of natural gas mains, natural gas service lines, and related natural gas work, including service connections, site work, erosion and traffic control, as needed to complete authorized work. Gas system materials including pipe, pipe detection wire, valves, fittings, service tees, service risers, meters, and regulators will be furnished by the Authority for installation by the Contractor. The contract will be in place for one (1) year period with annual renewal options up to a total of five (5) years. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds either a Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14 and 43-41. Failure to provide the bidder's license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid. Bidder shall also be a current subscriber to the Subscribed Regulatory Compliance Service (SRCS) Operations Qualification Program and shall provide satisfactory evidence upon request. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
