Site work for a mixed-use development in Onamia, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and educational facility.

Scope of Work: The project includes purchase and installation of playground equipment for two playground areas at Nay Ah Shing Lower School. The project will be completed in two phases: the front playground for younger elementary children, including new equipment, artificial turf, and poured-in-place surfacing; and the rear playground for older elementary children, including subbase preparation, concrete curbing, equipment installation, poured-in-place surfacing, and a concrete basketball court. Work includes all sub-surface drain tile, border and sub-base materials, geotextile filter fabric, ADA access points, and poured-in-place rubber fall protection surfacing with up to three colors and patterns. Contractors are responsible for all debris removal, site restoration, Gopher One utility locates, and coordination with the General Contractor for site preparation. Fencing is by others. Instructions to Bidders: Submit lump sum proposals for supply and installation, not to exceed the stated budget. Provide 2-3 designs for each playground area, using separate bid forms for each. All contractors and suppliers must be licensed with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. Bids must be mailed and labeled as indicated. Include all required documentation: bid form, vendor’s license, insurance certificate, TERO Compliance Plan Acknowledgement, subcontractor/material supplier list, and authorized signature sheet. Include schedule, product data, cost breakdowns, product order lead time, and color package templates. Include 0.5% TERO Tax fee and performance & payment bonds. Davis Bacon wage rates apply. Mobilize within six weeks of notice to proceed and submit a construction schedule at contract signing. The Band reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason. All proposals must be submitted as sealed bid forms and not double sided or bound. Final color selections will be made by the Owner after award.
