Belton Independent School District (BISD and/or DISTRICT) is requesting competitive sealed proposals for Hail Damage Miscellaneous Repairs - Districtwide. This Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RCSP) is an approved procurement method in accordance with Chapter 2269, Subchapter D of Texas Government Code. Proposers are encouraged to read the entire RCSP prior to submitting a response. The owner will select the proposal that offers the "best value" for the District based on the selection criteria contained in making this determination. Please note that the Roofing and HVAC Repairs RCSPs will be occurring concurrently, so additional attendees associated with those scopes of work may also be present during the site visits. Belton Independent School District reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals, to award contracts as may appear advantageous, and to negotiate separately in any manner necessary as allowed by law to serve in the best interest of the District and to waive all formalities. Work includes repair and replacement of storm-damaged land improvements, exterior building elevations, skylights, solar panels, interior finishes, lighting, and low-voltage/audio-visual components at multiple facilities in accordance with the insurer's approved scope and these Contract Documents. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, permits, temporary protection, cleanup, and closeout necessary for complete repair in strict conformance with the approved scope. No deviation from the insurerapproved scope shall be performed without prior written authorization from both the District and TASB Risk Management.
