This sources sought notice is issued by the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood, Texas, for the purpose of conducting market research to identify interested and capable small business sources for a Roofing Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) in support of the U.S. Army Fort Hood installation. The requirement is contemplated as a small business set-aside, provided that two or more qualified small businesses respond with information sufficient to support the set-aside determination. If adequate small business participation is not demonstrated, the Government will be unable to set aside the requirement. Small businesses of all socioeconomic categories, including 8(a) Business Development Program participants, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Historically Underutilized Business Zone firms, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns, are encouraged to submit capability information demonstrating their ability to meet the roofing requirement at a fair market price. The intent of this notice is to gain knowledge of all potentially interested small business sources, and it is issued for planning purposes only. All interested parties are encouraged to respond.
