See Appendix A for submission requirements. Scope of Work for Building 502 1. General: The work consists of providing labor and tools to tape, float and paint the hardened ceiling in building 502. Contractor shall perform all necessary work as stated above. Contractor shall clean up all waste and rubbish created by the work and leave the job site in a manner acceptable to the project Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). LOCATION: The job site is located at: San Angelo State Supported Living Center 11640 US Highway 87 North, Carlsbad, Texas 7693 Contractor for Building 502 will need to caulk around any penetrations, tape, float and paint the hardened ceilings at 502. Contractor shall provide locked fencing, approved by the center, for the job site where required, which will be at least six (6) feet tall, secured together with wire and t-post bracing and where possible secured to ground to prevent access to the job site by residents at the center. Keep tools and equipment within the fenced area and not propped up around the fence where an individual can retrieve the items. Building 502 will need hardened metal ceilings with VHI, and fabricate and install access Panels. Building 502 will need to be prepped, taped, floated and painted in a timely manner. Supplies will be provided by the facility in order to complete the Job, If something else is needed they may contact Pablo Deluna @325-650-7482, or Amber Laster @ 325-301-9763. It is required that the contractor bidding the work visit the work site. The Contractor shall maintain a clean, safe, and workman-like job site. At the conclusion of the work, contractor shall clean up and remove all waste and rubbish created by the work and leave the work site in a manner acceptable to the Maintenance supervisor. Upon receiving the Notice to Proceed, contractor shall begin work as soon as possible. The anticipated start date is scheduled as soon as contract is awarded however, it is subject to change. The work consists of Contractor entering the facility when required to review, and perform work as requested. Unless otherwise stated in this document, the contractor shall supply all labor, and tools to complete this project. Work Limits: Contractor shall confine work area to fenced job site or interior of building. Contractor will be allowed to store materials inside the building being renovated. All vehicles will be secured at all times behind locked fencing or once unloaded, taken off campus. Contractor shall conduct their operations to ensure that San Angelo State Supported Living Center personnel have access to the job site. Work hours shall be between Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No work on weekends or holidays unless prior arrangements have been made. 3. PROJECT CONDITIONS: Contractor to provide labor and tools as needed. 4. PRODUCTS: Labor, and tools as needed for installation will be supplied by the Contractor. Sherwin Williams Preclassic Interior paint and white Sherwin Williams Exterior Duration paint will be provided by the facility, as well as the metal, VHI, tape and mud. Scope of Work for Building 502A 1. General: The work consists of providing labor to harden ceilings by installing custom metal framework and sheetrock installation services, taping, floating, painting and sealing penetrations for building 502A at San Angelo State Living Center. Contractor will fabricate the custom Grid and light/AC/access frames as directed by the facility per measurements discussed at time of starting. All material will be provided for framing of the grid, light fixtures, AC grills, access panel openings and anchoring items by the facility. Contractor will put in support for metal framing to hard concrete ceiling above to ensure framing issupported every 8 foot with anchors with 3/8 all thread rod. If hallway is wider than 4-foot, then two supports will be required every 8-foot. Framing must be no more than 2-foot span between framing and be spaced to accept sheetrock for support at 4-foot span. Once primary framing is up, facility will review for layout of lighting, vents, access areas and may add additional welding if needed once framing is up. Once framing is complete, the facility will need two weeks to install the AC ducts, lights and other items before the sheetrock can be installed. Contractor will then return to install Sheetrock provided by the facility. Sheetrock must be installed so all gaps are smoke-tight, closed and secured properly with proper metal screws no more than 8- inches between screws. No combustible materials can be used for the framing or in the enclosed ceiling space to meet NFPA requirements. Contractor shall perform all necessary work as stated above. Contractor shall cleanup all waste and rubbish created by the work and leave the job site in a manner acceptable to the project Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The grid/sheetrock installation service work where called for will be for the first-floor halls, lobbies and other areas pre-determined if applicable located on San Angelo state living center premises. The Contractor shall maintain a clean, safe, and workman like job site. At the conclusion of the work, contractor shall clean up and remove all waste and rubbish created by the work and leave the work site in a manner acceptable to the Maintenance supervisor. Upon receiving the Notice to Proceed, contractor shall begin work when notified of installation needed. The anticipated start date is scheduled as soon as contract is awarded however, it is subject to change if clients need to vacate the building. The work consists of Contractor entering the facility when required to review and install as requested. The facility elects to remove the old drop ceilings at the facility prior to the installation.
